MODULE 1: FROM CLEAR TO COMPELLING

·         Builds on Basic Module 1 (“Why Business Writing Matters”) by shifting focus from avoiding costly mistakes to deliberately shaping reader perception.

·         How to move from simply being understood to influencing decisions.

·         Recognizing when “clear” isn’t enough: using emphasis, flow, and rhythm to drive a point home.

MODULE 2: STRUCTURING FOR IMPACT

·         Expands on Basic Module 2 (“Principles of Effective Business Writing) with deeper dives into nuance and persuasion.

·         When to lead with the conclusion and when to build suspense for maximum reader impact.

·         Storytelling upgrade: blending facts with relatable narratives for stronger connection.

MODULE 3: ADJUSTING TONE WITHOUT LOSING PROFESSIONALISM

·         Adapting tone for different stakeholders—executives, clients, peers, and the public.

·         Balancing professionalism with approachability in written communication.

·         When directness can sound rude — cultural and situational awareness in tone.

MODULE 4: POLISHING FOR INFLUENCE

·         Elevates Basic Module 4’s exercises with more complex scenarios.

·         Replacing weak, generic words with strong, specific language.
